Molly was the only girl landing back 540s, spinning both ways with good amplitude and solid grab, stomping the competition. Madi put down an impressive run too, finishing 7th overall.

Molly said: “I really can’t believe this has just happened! I felt I put down one of the best results I’ve ever done, and I was just so happy to be representing Great Britain at the World Juniors. Thank you so much for everyone’s incredible support! I’m on cloud nine!

Molly’s coach Pat Sharples said: “Molly’s result was 101% deserved today and it’s probably one of the best runs I’ve ever seen her do! She’s worked and trained so hard over this last year and also battled through this week with a slight knee injury too. I certainly couldn’t be any happier and prouder of how Molly and Madi skied today at the World Junior Championships as well as all our other young slopestyle athletes who also got awesome results

Yesterday saw Madi Rowlands also competing in Slopestyle at the World Juniors, finishing 6th overall. Cal Sandieson and Mike Rowlands represented in the men’s but both just missed out on finals, finishing 16th and 19th overall respectively.
