Nick is an ex competitive racer and University of Dundee Sports Scholar.
Tom left uni with a degree in accounting, economics and management. He quickly realised there was more to life than spreadsheets and decided to become a ski instructor. Over the past 9 years Tom has developed from student to coach as part of the New Generation ski instructor training system.
Tom is now a BASI ISTD instructor, Swiss Brevet Fédéral and in the system to become a BASI trainer. During the winter months Tom puts his degree to use managing New Generations ski schools in Switzerland as well as over seeing all their Swiss ski instructor training programmes from BASI 1 & 2 to ISTD As part of his on-going professional development he has spent the past 2 summers competing as a FIS racer in New Zealand, and has been working along side team GB and Dave Ryding to further his coaching knowledge.
Lee left school as only a keen recreational skier, he initially trained and qualified as a professional chef. After 8 years full time in the restaurant kitchens of the Midlands, Scotland and London he decided to do a season as a ‘chalet boy’ preparing his culinary delights for clients in Le Praz, Courchevel 1300.
7 seasons later and after a lot of dedication and commitment he now finds himself fully qualified in the BASI system to ISTD level 4 and is currently a trainer for BASI. He is the director of the SnoworksGAP ski instructor courses program and works full time with Snoworks Ski Courses
As the sales and marketing manager for New Gen , Rebecca’s job is to look after the marketing & sales strategy, oversee the in resort sales teams and run the marketing department in head office. Rebecca worked for 5 years in an advertising agency in London, and this year will be her third year out in France.
After studying History and Politics at the University of Stirling and Carleton University in Ottawa, Adam set about following another passion – skiing and instructing. He is ISTD qualified and has 9 years teaching experience across Europe, North America and Australia. He has worked for New Generation for 4 years, currently teaching out of Courchevel 1850. In addition he works behind the scenes with the operational running of the ski school.
